Hi,
I do have a remark, witch is at the same time a request.
I'm creating a commuter train with MLCAD, and generate a parts list.
This list is a common .TXT file.
Now, i would like to import this file into Excel, but can't split the 'Color,
Part Number, Description, ...' into separate columns, without writing some VBA
code.
Is it possible to place between the 'Column' info a TAB, so that every text is
placed into his proper column?
As in following example?
Nr.<TAB>Kleur<TAB>Onderdeel nr.<TAB>Onderdeel naam
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
84<TAB>Light-Gray<TAB>6005.DAT<TAB>Arch 1 x 3 x 2 with Curved Top
This would make it more easy to sort, count, and calculate prices (if
nesesarry).
Don't forget that LEGO is doing some bulk delivery tests in Europe, and this
could be important to create a complete parts list, sorted the way we want
(example per color, shape,...).
Adding a TAB into the text file wouldn't enlarge the textfile much, but gives
more possibilities to manupilate the parts list.
Regards,
Ludo
