Hi,
I searched the newsgroup but didn't find this, so I hope I on't ask
something for the 1000th time:
I created a MPD-model (sik.mpd). Everything OK with that, converting to POV
goes well so no problems there. But when I place the file ("add part" and
then choose "custom part") in an other model I get error-messages that the
multi-parts it uses can't be found (strange since they are IN the file) and
when it is loaded all multiparts show, but aligned to the 0,0,0 point
(anyone still reading this?). This happens with files outside the
models-folder but also with a MPD-files which is IN the LDraw-models-folder
and imported via the models menu on the left. O yes, when converting to POV
the model is OK again.
Problem is, since all multiparts are on the same coordinate (0,0,0) I can't
see how big the model is...
Can anyone help? I use the latest version of MLcad although I had the
problem with a version before this one. Is it a preference I have to change?
Is it a feature? Is it the fact I use VirtualPC on a Mac?
TIA, Jeroen

| Hi Jeroen, MLCad does currently not support including mpd's into other files! The result when doing it are uncontrolled. Alternativly you can extract all the files from the mpd and import them into another project. Regards, Michael (23 years ago, 13-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
