Re: LDD Model of GG-1 Electric Locomotive - Advice Requested

(...) NOW you tell me :-) Actually I managed to get it built, but it wasn't easy. (...) That doesn't seem to help, as I did a fresh install of the program last night just for this - my wife's Mac didn't have it installed. (...) OK, I will do that (...)   Re: LDD Model of GG-1 Electric Locomotive - Advice Requested

(...) Glad that you ordered the GG1! This isn't the first complaint about instructions generation in LDD, unfortunately. I would suggest trying the different instructions modes (there's one for vehicles, buildings, and Technic) to see if you have (...) (17 years ago, 30-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX)

  LDD 2.0 - Inventory of a MOC

Hi, Once I create a moc in LDD 2.0 (or open elseone's moc) how do I get the list of the parts? Also, can I "Try to Build it" on peeron? (I understand that if the LDD->LDraw conversion was working fine I could "kill these two rabbits at once".) (...) (17 years ago, 27-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  LDD PRR T1 #6110

For my next LDD MOC, I built a PRR T1 #6110 (4-4-4-4 duplex-drive steam locomotive). I've uploaded it to the Lego® Factory, so once it is approved you can take a closer look. My new BBB wheels arrived in the mail today, so this may be the one that I (...) (17 years ago, 27-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX)

Re: NEW VERSION! Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd

(...) Well it took al little longer than I thought but I have all the ones done I could figure out. Some only import or export one way, others I have no clue on why they do not work, some do not have official LDR files yet. But here is the updated (...)   Re: A Cool Viaduct

(...) It's definitely not Mac specific. I know someone using a PC who's had the problem too. Tim (17 years ago, 17-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: A Cool Viaduct

(...) Oh yeah, no problem about calling me Jason. It happens a lot in real life to me, too. I guess it could be a Mac-specific bug. If you know of any other Mac LDD users (or have a spare Mac box around), perhaps they could download this model and (...) (17 years ago, 17-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd)

Hi Mike, Couple of ideas for a couple of the bugs. (...) Did you triy transparent and opaque? (...) Did you try 30039? (...) Tim (17 years ago, 10-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: NEW VERSION! Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd

(...) I just uploaded my version 1.01e. This is what I have fixed and found as of today. I’m still working on some problem ones below and I’m at a loss on what to do if anything I could do. If you already downloaded the 1.01A through D you will have (...) (17 years ago, 10-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Save the 10183 trains!

(...) Same here on Kubuntu Edgy & RHEL4. Up until LDD 1.4 it worked, but some routines were obviously modified afterwards which use routines not (yet?) supported by WINE. (17 years ago, 9-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Save the 10183 trains!

(...) Well, it was worth a try. I tried both LDD1.6 and LDD2.0 . Both required a new Linux /lib32 library, libdrm.so.1 . I got that and installed it. LDD1.6 tries to do what looks like some OpenGLL stuff that isn't supported. It *did* manage to (...) (17 years ago, 9-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ldd)

LDD Model of GG-1 Electric Locomotive - Advice Requested

I decided to model the very well known GG1 locomotive as a model available from LEGO Factory. I took some liberties with the design and color scheme in order to accomodate what can be done in LDD. Even so, I think the result is inherently (...) (17 years ago, 7-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX) !

NEW VERSION! Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd

Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd

(...) I will do that. Thanks for all the help and the ldraw.xml file. I loaded mine as it is today. I have a bunch more I need to do and I should have those done by Tuesday or so. I made this version 1.01a for starters and will keep most up to date (...) (17 years ago, 7-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd

--snip-- (...) Hi Mike, It's my understanding [1] that we're allowed to post our own Ldraw.xml files so perhaps you could upload yours to Brickshelf. That way people can be sure that they've got the fixes right and the XML file can grow with fixes (...) (17 years ago, 7-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd

(...) I also fixed these. First 2 I just had to fix placement, 3rd one I created a “transformation” and “brick ldraw” lines, the 4th I only had to add the “transformation” line, you all ready had the “brick ldraw” line. But 3069b and 3068b I could (...) (17 years ago, 7-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Save the 10183 trains!
