Is there any organizational mechanism (for instance, via the steering committee)
to appoint or elect new people to your roles, rather than to suspend activity?
Of course, I recognize the CMS plans might make succession impractical at
present, but eventually it seems like it will be necessary to address.

| (...) The SteerCo can appoint anyone they wish to the webmaster position. In practise, the existing webmasters would probably ask them to add someone they wished to have. The problem is that our voting module is a little bit incompatible with the current version of our CMS making life difficult for the admin. Since Tim hasn't been trained (...)
