Hi Tim,
I tried something new today. (After seeing ldraw.org on my mom's comp at
school I gained renewed interest in solving this problem.) I tried typing
in the IP address to see if it would come up. It didn't. I also tried
looking for several servers assosciated with it. I used a DNS Lookup
service to find as much info as I could. I searched for ldraw.org:

The only IP I was able to connect to was http://130.226.48.19
I then tried http://130.226.51.217 again, only this time I hit it repeatedly
(frustrated). It slowed it down enough that I was able to see the following
responses in my explorer's connection bar:

connecting to site
redirected to hugin.ldraw.org
Then the DNS error comes up.
I then did a search for hugin.ldraw.org, and this was the response I got:

hugin.ldraw.org is a nickname for www.ldraw.org
www.ldraw.org has address 130.226.51.217
Notice how it identifies hugin.ldraw.org as a nickname. After seeing the
earlier redirecting to hugin.ldraw.org message I started wondering if for
some reason the node or network I am passing through (see earlier message)
might be sending me through a continuous loop between www.ldraw.org and
hugin.ldraw.org which results in a DNS error. Could this be a reason?

PS. I thought I remembred your name from somewhere. You live in Wheaton
and I used to live in Lombard (a few miles east towards Chicago). I've
since moved back to Knoxville, TN to go to grad school, but I still have a
friend named Michael Bortnick who lives in Wheaton accross I-88 from the AMC
30 Theaters. Small world 8o)

| This has been a problem for me ever since I first started trying to reach (URL) have already been several messages out about it in different threads, and I would like to start this one to try and solve the problem.
