Well, it's not really voting about my copyright, it's voting about retroactively
accepting changes to the agreement between myself and LDraw.org.
My issue is the checkbox pretty much invalidates the entire 'making changes'
section of CA. If a majority of authors select the checkbox, then there is
basically no requirement for voting on any changes that might be made.
There's also the issue of administering the checkbox settings -- authors need to
be able to change their option (over time), LDraw.org will need to be able to
migrate the checkbox-data to a new system (whenever we might move to a new
system).
I'd much rather have the language that Dan outlined
<http://news.lugnet.com/cad/dev/org/ldraw/?n=3248>, and remove the checkbox --
possibly even remove the entire section on change-management.
