Changed model
Pressed "command+s"
(menu lit up)
Pressed "command+q"
I was greeted with a dialogue box that stated that the changes hadn't
been saved and asked if I wanted to save them.
I dismissed the dialogue box, and quit.
I launched MBC 0.6.2 and opened the file. The changes had been saved.
Rotated (the view not the bricks) my GP30 model and bricks showed up in
weird places and some were duplicated (as many as 6 extra bricks were
seen) during rotation.

Rotation of a selection of bricks
via dialogue box, only rotates one of the bricks
via option, sometimes rotates the bricks as a collection sometimes
rotates the brick as individual bricks (I cannot reproduce the behavior
at the moment).
When I can reproduce those problems, I'll let you know.
