Would it be reasonable to create a rect primitive that has two edges
parallel to each other?  How about two edges perpendicular?  How about a
rect with only one edge?  There are several places in the piece I am almost
done with where substitituting such primitives would save a bit on
byte-space.  Or is this getting too close to "might as well just use the
basic polygons and edges".  If the consensus is that these should exist, I'd
be happy to kick them out real quick (naming suggestions, anyone)?

The Rectangle with 2 Parallel Edges (rect2p.dat) was already on the Parts
Tracker. I've just added rect2a.dat (Rectangle with 2 Adjacent Edges) and
rect1.dat (Rectangle with 1 Edge).

I can't fix the zip file right now, but will try to get to it at the weekend,
unless Steve Bliss gets there first.

(...) What was it missing? We did have a problem running out of disk space recently, that could have caused the trouble. (...) I've rebuilt the zip file. I should probably set that up to run as a daily job. Steve (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives, lugnet.cad.dev)
