I'm having some problems when Dk Red (color 323).

When I render an L3P generated POV of a Dk Red piece I get this:

This is definately not Dk Red, it's more of a tannish grey.
When I render a piece with color 260 I get this:

This is much closer to what Dk Red should be, but not quite.
So, here's my question:
What color, if any is designated, should be used for dk red?  If a decision
is made reagrading this question, I think the LDraw Color Chart on LDraw.org
should be changed to reflect this

I think color 320 is pretty much spot on, but I'm open to other ideas. -Orion (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I've been wrestling with this one recently. I actually intended to update the color reference on ldraw.org, changing 323 to 320, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Colors 260 and 320 should be nearly identical, they both dither red with black. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)
