(...) Only if the cylinders are the same diameter, and are intersecting cleanly - perpendicular to each other, and their axes are intersecting. In this case, use 2-4cyls.dat (or is that 2-4cyls2.dat?) to model the intersection. Steve (22 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: The use of type 5 lines for smoothing of objects.

(...) Well, I added an initial go at Martijn's suggested algorithm to LDView (with some modifications here and there), and the results look extremely promising.   Updated and New Rebel Pilot Torso Patterns (Star Wars)

I just posted a revised DAT file for the "default" Rebel pilot torso pattern: "(URL) official DAT file has the wrong color code for the chestplate (unless my copy somehow got corrupted).   Re: Part request  [DAT]

  Part request

Has anyone made this part: (URL) searched on Lugnet and the Parts Tracker to no avail and the part number Peeron assigns it is a completely differnet part in LDraw library. If no one has made it I might take a crack at it. -Orion (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Lego Movie

Hello, hmm. I'm not sure what's wrong. I use IE 5.5 and latest Mediaplayer and it works fine. Didn't try the QT version. Greetz Carsten "Jaco van der Molen" <jmolen@globalxs.nl> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:Gw71qv.23C@lugnet.com... (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: The use of type 5 lines for smoothing of objects.

(...) I guess I misunderstood your normal calculation. I thought you were basing it on the normals of the the faces, not the normals formed by the type 5 lines and their control points. Using the control points makes sense, except for one problem. (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)
