Hi Paul,
Now the zip is OK.
At the first glance it seems to be very useful. I guess I will have more seriuos comments when I will use it to solve a real
calculation problem during a part creation.
Only one thing that I have to mention. In the rare event when I model a part :-), I usually use Excel to assemble the dat file.
Having a stand-alone calculator in this case is still a good thing, but for every calculation you have to use a piece of paper (or
the clipboard) to transfer both its inputs and outputs.
My opinion is, that among the Excel and stand-alone version of your utilities the spreadsheet version is more usable, because the
part authors working with similar method can easily 'borrow' and reapply the expressions involved in the Excel tables in their own
Excel sheets.
However, it is more comfortable to use the standalone version if you do a 'once in a lifetime' calculation, than opening the Excel
sheet.
If you plan to involve more effort in developing your calculation utilities, I suggest to consider the spreadsheet version as the
main line, followed by the stand-alone version.
Thanks
Ampi
