Hi Damien,

I've downloaded your part and had a look at it using MLCad. When you look more
exactly at the part e.g. zoom in to see details, you will see that not only
that sub-parts are drawn wrong where the background is white and so we can see
them easily but also others are drawn wrong.

Sure MLCad might have a bug which is causing this, but I believe there is still
something wrong with the definitions. It looked directly onto the tyre with a
big zooming on it and could see the some of the knobs are not drawn even if
they face to me.

I'm so fare to say I havened done any playes with BFCing parts so far just
implemented the thing into MLCad for experiments. Here I've done some tests
together with Steve with simple surfaces where it was easy to check if
everything was ok. Also steve did the BFCing for some of the base parts, maybe
he has the time to look at your tyre.

The only thing I could imagine as a possible problem is some kind of critical
angles of surfaces where MLCad believes desides wrong if the area is seen or
not.

But in the above case it was clearly pointing to me, whereas I would say
there's something wrong with the definitions or matrices.

Hi everyone,

I'm working correct a part i made before to make it BFC compatible.
But i have a problem.

The part is the Motorcycle tyre 81.6x15, also available in the Mindstorms set.
To do this part, i've made a subfile, wich i reuse 48 times to get the • complete tyre.
I did verify the part with option 6 in L3Lab, it is fully in green (CW).
I did also verify that all the matrices are positive, to avoid unwanted • inversions, by calculating determinants of each matrice.

When i open the part with MLCad, some of my subparts are inverted, some • aren't.

Have i made a mistake, or is it a bug from MLCad ?

You can try it if you want.

PS : you need to put 2902a in \S subfolder in part folder
