Speaking of LDraw color codes, the FAQ only lists 41 of them.  Are any other
codes used that aren't in that list that I should support?

Have you looked at the LDLite extended meta-statements?  Among other
things, they allow colors to be defined and redefined in models.  I'd
recommend supporting these commands -- for some of them (probably the
rotate, translate, and transform commands), you just need to be able to
render the command.  For others, mainly COLOR, it would be great if your
program allows users to add the command to the model.

I'm actually glad to have so many suggestions from so many people.  I wasn't
really expecting this much interest in my project so soon.  The feedback has
made me feel very welcome in this forum and I hope to live up to everyone's
expectations.

We're still looking for the perfect software. :)

(...) You beat me too it, Steve :) I was also going to recommend supporting the COLOR meta command. I also suggest you support all the other LDLite colors. (I think most of them are between 17 and 31) --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
