Have we come up with a viable way to represent decals/labels/stickers on parts? And what's the minimum thickness a part can have? Could we make a "label" piece that's 80LDU's wide by 24LDU's tall by, say, .25 LDU's thick? Thanks in advance! Dave! (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) normal (...) the (...) I somewhat disagree with that. I do averaging at Dat file level and you can see that it works for cylinders. There should be no difference between connections of cylinder segments and sphere segments. If you inspect the (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) OK, the lighting is definitely much less confusing now, and it's much easier to do the rotations. About the spheres not joining properly: are you applying the surface normal averaging at the dat file level, or at the part level? If you're (...) (22 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)
