Thank you very much everyone! When I saw the models this month, I was worried I wouldn't have much of a chance, but I am glad to have been chosen. (...) It's a backward compatibility issue: a. These lines help to identify the various printed pieces in Ledit, which does show the parts as wireframes only. b. In a Ldraw render, it prevents the background color bits "eating up" the pattern color (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I have noticed recently that some printed parts have edges around all the printed bits. For example, look at 3010p06.dat. This is a 1x4 with stripes on one side. But between each red stripe and its neighboring bgcolor stripe, there is a light-red (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
