Because of some of the more recent advancements in software which utilizes the .dat file, I have been thinking about what LDraw *is*. I'm looking for part SWENGINE.DAT that shows up in several model DAT files posted on LUGNET (for example, Pat Justisson's Tantive IV -- that's the only one I can remember author and subject off-hand). I just returned from the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago where they held the Illinois state FIRST Lego League Mindstorms competition. FIRST is an organization that uses Lego Mindstorms to help prommote kids pursuing careers in engineering (...)
