What approach should I take to create the "Curved Slope End".  Should I create a
curved and slope line and surface primitive?

The basis for this part file (version 2) is 41855 2 x 2 x 2/3 Slope Rounded. In
the uploaded 47457v2.dat file, you'll see two pairs of quads.  The inside
surface is red, the outside is blue (I think those are the colors I put, I'm
color-blind)  I put straight lines (temporary tracers) going from the related
corners.  These lines starting from the top and ending in the bottom, need to
curve out and down.

So on the outside, a curved and sloped line should go from -10 0 -10 -20 12 30 and from 10 0 -10 20 12 -30.  Similarly in the inside -10 4 10 -16 12 -27 and from 10 4 -10 16 12 -27

Your advice please?

(...) Are there many parts that will need this surface? It doesn't seem like it would be that common... If it would help you to have a subfile, then create a subpart file rather than a primitive. If I've totally missed the point of your question, (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
