Bart,
Try this for the curves from the sides to the top:
1 16 18 2 18 2 0 0 0 0 -2 0 -36 0 1-4cyli.dat
1 16 18 2.0 16 0 0 2 -2 0 0 0 2 2 1-4cyli.dat
1 16 18 2.0 18 0 0 2 -2 0 0 0 2 2 1-4edge.dat
1 16 18 2.0 -18 0 0 2 -2 0 0 0 2 -2 1-4cyli.dat
Of course you'll need the same for each side, but it takes care of the
optional lines, and will look much better in POV-Ray.
And, if the sides curve smoothly to the top, no edgelines should be shown
around the top or at the top of the sides.
Also, you have a number of "1 24 ... 1-4edge.dat" lines. Type 1 lines should
never (as far as I can think) use color 24. They use color 16, since the
color 24 of the type 2 edgelines is coded into the 1-4edge.dat. This is
causing black edgelines on your part.
Since I don't have this part, I can't really comment on it's accuracy.
