(...) This not the best way to proceed. It is better to use 3-8cyli.dat instead, and then hard-code the last polygon (or two), based on the polygons from 1-4cyli.dat. But the approach you describe has been used on some parts. Steve (25 years ago, 21-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Here you can find my first part. I've done this with a simple calcul sheet, and some hours of work... The sub parts wdd1.dat; wdd2.dat, tdd1.dat should be placed in Ldraw\Parts\S Wdd and Tdd should be placed in Ldraw\Parts I didn't use any optionnal (...) (25 years ago, 20-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) It's because i use my stl2dat converter and it is not completely debugged yet. The part has been modelised with solidworks. BTW is it a correct way in dat part to use a 2-4cyli.dat cylindric primitives when the cylinder does not have exactly (...) (25 years ago, 19-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
