(...) ...and... (...) ...and... (...) Sounds like good fodder for a parts-authoring FAQ. Is there one? Other than Q24 in the LDraw FAQ (1), of course... Perhaps Q24 (and Q31 and the primitives reference (2)) should be broken out and re-organized as (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Erk. It's going to be hard to fix the interior problem later, with that handle sticking most of the way through.
