Re: new part 2865.dat (9v straight track)

2 things about this part: 1.you should make some of the bits of this part that are likely to be used in other parts subparts, i.e. the ties, including the one with the hole in it and the half tie that is used for the connection. and 2.the color you (...)   Re: [part] Updated S\973S01.DAT

(...) :-, Yah, on some extremely well-used torso pieces. ;-) I was just thinking along the lines that, very few "core" LDraw parts have patterns -- the typical action is to make an unmarked part first, then refer to that unmarked part in a different (...)   Re: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer

(...) Easy -- I opened the part (in the models dir) in LEdit, moved something that was totally far from the 5-lines, saved it, and loaded the part in a text editor. Sure enough, the 5-lines with color 24 were now 4-lines with color 24. FWIW, all the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: UPDATED Part - 30200 Windscreen 6 x 6 Octagonal Canopy Base

(...) Thanks!!! (...) Hum...? Cockpit? Oh yeah, I remember that debate. Sure, why not? I will submit the part with the category changed to Cockpit, should I also repost it here that way too? Paul (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer

(...) WHAT?!? Do you have evidence for this? The 4-as-5 thing was reported as a bug in LDAO awhile ago, but I could never pin it down. I'd love to know what's actually happening. Steve (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer

(...) Man, I gotta be coming across as the world's biggest jerk. Sorry, Steve, I was wrong; LDAO wasn't changing line numbers on me. LEdit is the one changing the 5's to 4's. Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
