I remember reading once that MSIE in its infinite wisdom sometimes ignores MIME types and gleans the file type from the extension in the (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.admin.general)

| | | | | | You can blame MSIE and its crappy file handling here. Some parts of MSIE will use the MIME type from the server (application/x-ldraw or whatever) and some parts will use the filename. Unfortunatly, IE seems not to handle content-disposition (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.admin.general)

Win2K doesn't allow you to manually edit the MIME-types through the interface, and I forget how to do it in the registry. So, I try (...)
