Re: Loader (new one) vs. UAV!

Thanks a lot Bram. I hope to see your loader, if you decide to build one. (...) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Loader (new one) vs. UAV!

(...) Great loader! I might have to build my own :) --Bram (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Ford Aerostar  [DAT]

Loader (new one) vs. UAV!  [DAT]

This is kinda like a follow up to Jeremy H. Sproat's lifter/loader; it inspired me to make this one! Oh! BTW Fred, the operator of the Loader, has just gotten in a fight with a UAV that has been hacked into. "Damn! My job's hard enuff', and now I (...)   Re: New minifig-scale anthromorphic lifter/loader

(...) The patterns that didn't show up are (incorrectly) made up of lines instead of polygons. L3P can't distinguish between edge lines and pattern lines, so it leaves them out altogether. Someone really should fix all the patterns which use lines. (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: New minifig-scale anthromorphic lifter/loader

(...) Cool! :-, (...) Not so sure. That's interesting...some of the patterns stayed, but the tile on the (your) right-hand side is gone... Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: New minifig-scale anthromorphic lifter/loader

(...) I really liked this model. I chose a camera angle from directly in front, and low. It looks great with the claws coming out at you. (URL) (58K) So what happens to the decals? Why don't they show up when rendering in POV? -Chuck (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: microfig aerospace fighter

(...) There's no concrete scale for microfig, if that's what you mean. I use two different (and pretty much arbitrary) scales myself -- 341:1 and 115:1. Your microfig models tend to be closer to the latter scale. Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
