This is the DAT file for my Spherical Stellar Cartography Podule. Each part of the structure tells you how many to build. You need one stand, one base and one top. (...) Looks cool. It also exposes a bug and a missing feature/possibly bug in the current LDView releases. LDView doesn't properly support files in subdirectories inside an MPD (such as s\). If I were a Minifig this would be the rest of my pad. (4 URLs) Once again there all a little to big for system minifigs but I guess thats the cost of a little detail. (...) Unfortunately this scene is not possible to build in 'real' LEGO in the chosen colors. I spotted at least 4 parts not available in the chosen color. That's nice! Time to dump those big front L & R speakers for some small ones and a sub-woofer, though. :-) I especially like the first pic in the folder, the way the screen reflects the background, just like a true big-screen TV. (...) I used a few programs to finish off these images. Once the model was complete in MLcad I used L3P to convert the .ldr and .mpd files to .pov files. I used the L3P addon "L3PAO" to do this.
