  Re: 6984 Galactic Mediator

If it is one day complete (and I'm sure you will be able to complete it after the next parts update) please submit it again to lugnet.cad.dat.models.set... -- (...)   Re: Baroque Church Facade

(...) Sure. I use MLCAD myself, but only to _render_ (display) the model. For my actual typing, I use Notepad. (A DAT file is simply an ASCII text file with a different extension.) Open up Wordpad (not Notepad). Open a File, of "any type", in your (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Baroque Church Facade

Thanks Can you elaborate more on your suggested change? I'm a newbie to this stuff, and just use MLCAD for all editing. I never mess with the actual text files or part properties. If you can describe the effect of your suggested change, it would be (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Baroque Church Facade

(...) FWIW, I find that changing "0.707107" to "0.707" (i.e., three digits of precision) is sufficiently precise, and helps avoid line-wrap. Franklin (24 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Is it appropriate to post large models here?

(...) Nah, don't worry about it with small files. Your "Baroque Church Facade" post was only 47,684 bytes (about 46.5 KB) -- still pretty small. You'd have to be posting 500 KB files often in order to cause a problem. --Todd [xfut -> lugnet.cad] (24 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad)

Is it appropriate to post large models here?

I've posted two decent sized .dat models here recently (St Marks and the Baroque Church). Is this appropriate? Is there any danger of using up too much disk space? Should we only post if there are requests (I could just post pictures from my web (...) (24 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  9000c Personal Runabout  [DAT]

I know it's a little late for the design-a-civvie contest, but better late than never. This started out as a variation of the <set:6850>, but I think this one is much meatier.
