I'm a long time LEGO collector who tends to build the model from
the instructions, display it for a few weeks or months, and then
dismantle it, to be reassembled again in a few years. However,
I'm _extremely_ impressed with the MOCs at
http://home.att.ne.jp/apple/hachi/ce_top.htm, the Castle Element site.
Has anybody in the Lugnet community tried to replicate a MOC of the
complexity of the models pictured on the Castle Element site? And
if so, has anybody considered trying to produce LEGO CAD instructions?
I would very much like to assist in such an effort, but I lack the
large-scale MOC experience to make guesses at how something like
those models are built. I can probably lay out the pieces I can see,
zooming in and image-enhancing the high-res pictures, but there are a
few parts I don't recognize and I certainly don't know what's underneath
what I can see.
