 | | non-lego rendering using various LDraw tools
|
| I've been messing around with a rendered scene for a music CD-R. I'm really happy with how it turned out, so I thought I'd share it. More on-topic, I used a number of LDraw tools in the creation process. (URL) Rendered CD booklet cover>> Bonus (...) (22 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, FTX)

So would other parts with weird curvy surfaces like the flame/seaweed piece (considering the fact that the first dragon's body parts have all been completed, I'm surprised that I can't find that part anywhere). | I downloaded copies of LDraw and MLcad a few days ago, and I've been building digital versions of a few of my models, but I ran into a couple of problems: 1. | I've been working on a castle tower for which I need a spiral staircase. Unfortunately, I sold off my HP sets that had the prefab spiral staircase parts, so I had to come up with something myself. Here is what I have so far. In the ldraw file, I (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

| I' built a similar bot, but the wheels are free-turning. Additionaly, the wheels are pressed down, so that they always have contact to the floor.
