| (...) And I was seriously considering recomending LDraw over Autocad to a friend of mine. And It was precisly what L-Draw could be used for other than Lego(R) was why I found Lugnet :-)))! | I was playing around with the idea of Bussard collectors, and I came up with this. Not terribly clever, and it isn't a complete buildable object (there's nothing holding it together), it uses a couple of big cheater pieces, and has unrealistic (...) | Okay, I've(my brother had the original idea, but I built it) done this in LEGOs, but until I get a digital camera or a scanner it'll stay LDRAW. This is a model of a ceiling light, and uses six pieces. It would probably only work in black or gray, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

| Jamie (my 12yo son) discovered an interesting shape, using plate hinges. He built an octagonal shape, by putting hinge plates <part: 4275> and <part: 4276> onto a z-bracket <part: 6087>. | Hello Folks, I have to dig out this 'thread' again. I don't know if Joachim fixed his problem so I ask only on my side of the problem. Could I submit stickers for the vote?
