  Re: My Mecha's Head

(...) I haven't seen very many mechas, but this head looks like it will be the start of a great one. I am very impressed with the variety of pieces you used. The design is very cool! Plus, green is my favorite LEGO color (but I think I'd like the (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

(...) message and paste it into a plain text editor (notepad, if you use windows). Then I save it as the filename given (with .dat extension, but I'm not sure if it's necessary). Then you can just open it in LDraw. John Gramley (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Ok, I am new to LDraw and I haven't used it that much, but could someone please tell me how to input the previos information into LDraw and make it into a visible picture? Thanks! ~Nick (URL) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, lugnet.build.mecha)

  My Mecha's Head  [DAT]

I got hit by builder's block while working on my mech a while ago. I was very unhappy with the Torso, and I couldn't visualize the legs. After demolishing the torso and staring at the pieces, I decided to try a new tack, and work on the head. After (...) (26 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

Re: Flying cars. Wheels like in "Back To The Futre."

(...) I've seen some pictures of some models that were actually used in the movie. Unfourtunatly, I don't remember the web address. The wheels folded down with some kind of pump, either pnumatic, or hydralic, I could't tell for sure. You might try (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

(...) Mine fold under, too, instead of out. That must've been a complicated mechanism on the functional film models... --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

Re: Flying cars. Wheels like in "Back To The Futre."

(...) It's pretty good, but I think they need to slide on the "tap" piece just a bit to get underneath. Also, the wheel does not stick out to the side the way it does in back to the futre, it goes underneath just a tad to much. Thanks for the (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

  Re: Minifig assualt rifle

(...) 762 was the temporary number under which I authored the minifig (motorcycle/space) helmet later discovered to be 2446. Chris (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

  Re: Minifig assualt rifle

762b is a minifig helmet. I'm not sure why it's in my parts directory, but it is. 762 would work just the same. -John Van Franklin W. Cain <fwcain@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:FsGMH6.2DM@lugnet.com... (...) (26 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)
