This is really nice. It will be great as a reference location.
Once it's tied into the part-search dictionary, it will really be cool.

Once LDLite is ported to Unix, could images be generated on-the-fly?
That would allow access to all LEGO-colors (background color would be
nice, too). I wonder how hard it would be to get LDLite to generate
transparent backgrounds. Oh, wait--the trick is to get it to generate
gif images. Which I don't think it can do, since it's a free program.
Oh well, that's Gyugyi's call.

| (...) There are currently many free programs that generate GIF output, like Gimp. But this is potentially dangerous, since the GIF algorithm is patented. For more information, look at: (URL) I understand that the planned UNIX/Linux version of LDLITE (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)
