(...) nope.. those are the ones!.. thanks fredrik! and... the 6579 looks nice... but closer inspection of the 6595 shows that i'm going to have to rethink my approach... rotating a section of the tire is causing the circumference to be misaligned... (...) (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I wouldn't worry too much about that. I've seen this effect in other LDraw parts as well, e.g. 2696.DAT Tyre Model Team Try to view this tyre from variour angles, and you'll note that the background "shines" through. Fredrik (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) If you can get the points for one section, you might use LDScript (or most any programming language) to generate the other sections, coding it to reuse the end-points from one section as the start-points in another section (instead of just (...) (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)
