And possibly:

Or is this some other tyre?

| (...) nope.. those are the ones!.. thanks fredrik! and... the 6579 looks nice... but closer inspection of the 6595 shows that i'm going to have to rethink my approach... rotating a section of the tire is causing the circumference to be misaligned... (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

| Two fairly complicated tires in one day... still tweaking the conversion code... some wiggy stuff due to LDraw's odd orientation of cartesian coords... but i'll get it all smoothed out.. in the meantime i've managed to get the technic 49.6x28 tire (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)
