The difference may or may not be important in the CAD world, but when it
comes to construction there is a world of difference. The c variant is
noticably stronger than either a or b if the clip is frequently "exercised".
For example on any of the pirate ships (set 6286 say) these parts are used
to hold swords, swabs, etc and the a and b variants break quickly whereas
the c variant does not "under child use". However, the c variant clip is
wider and cannot be placed with the clip part abutting the inside of a
panel. So in the cab of my freight train where two clips hold the tools
next to the rear panel they have to be an a or b variant - see here

| Is it important the difference of these parts? 4085a.dat 4085b.dat 4085c.dat I know they are differente but i never worryed about it but now I'm not sure witch one to use "currently i'm building model LL6257" witch one is the latest version? (22 years ago, 22-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad)
