Dear All,

Before I sent my first part to you
(http://news.lugnet.com/cad/dat/parts/?n=4052) I tried to verify its
conformity with BFC. During this investigation I found out that sub-part
s\3069bs01.dat, which I used in my patterned part, is actually not BFC
compliant. Main problem I think is primitive box5.dat. It is certified, but,
in my opinion, only for exterior of a brick. In that mentioned sub-part box5
should be inverted "inside out" to make sub-part BFC certified.
Is there any other solution to certify that sub-part then creating another
box5 with opposite winding?
Are there any plans to certify all parts already released but not certified yet?

Oooh!  Lemmee answer!  Steve B was kind enough to help me out on pretty
much this exact question a few days ago.  If you use the statement:

0 BFC INVERTNEXT
1 16 0 0 0 40 0 0 0 -24 0 0 0 20 box5.dat
0

the box will be visible from within, but not from the outside.

I think that's the answer.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

     Dave!
(when did this BFC stuff start, anyway?)

(...) Thanks a lot, Dave! I've just send to Steve new, modified by me, 3069bs01.dat to Steve. I hope that I didn't make any mistake and my version of that file is BFC compliant. Marek (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad)
