Someone posted a message last week (?) pointing to www.mindrover.com which is a virtual robotics game with some LEGO add-ons like the RCX. Not sure if this is what you were looking for. Dan

yeah i LOVE this game! hope theres mindrover to lego mindstorm convertor so i can make really smart lego creations whenever i get mindstorms legos ( which isnt anytime soon :( ) -- And they said 'Computers will never be in general use' "Daniel (...) Hey there, I have wondered if there is a software / application which can be used to model ones own Mindstorm Robot. I do not mean any programming software, but an application / software / game in which one can virtually build a robot and programm (...)
