I'm having a little trouble with the DAT2LWS coverter and Bryce. For whatever reason Bryce won't import the .lws file created by the converter. Does anyone know a solution to this? -Orion (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

This is a workaround and a little bit laborious, but it works fine on my German version of Bryce 4.0, even with a 23 Mbytes converted Lightwave-file. Please let me know if this workaround works with the US version and the 4.1 Update by Corel (R). (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

I rushed together a little program that removes the lines that confuse Bryce. It has four buttons: * Suggest: Suggests the lines to be removes by checking them. * Change: Removes the checked lines. * Save: Saves the file by overwriting the old, (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

I've changed a couple of details, like program now allows the user to decide whether window should be cleared or not when saving, and viewing window size follows appliction window's. I also renamed the exe file to LWS4Bryce, and added the world's (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

Willy, Thanks for the info. I tried it and it works like a champ in Bryce 5. I will probably be writing a little command line script to automagically do the conversions for me. However, there is one thing I do not know how to deal with. When the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)
