There exist a STL to DAT converter. As Autocad can output STL files, you can use it to produce part very quickly.
I have used it to produce many part with Solidworks that also has a STL output.
Check my page :
http://marc.klein.free.fr
http://marc.klein.free.fr/stl2dat.html for the STL to DAT converter. Have a look on th modeling tips page.
http://marc.klein.free.fr/parts.html for the parts I have modelised.
Beware of one thing with Autocad. The STL output puts all the geometry to the positive quadrant. You will have to use
the -o option of stl2dat to change the origin of the part.
