Hi Dö,

I understand your feelingsand share your points. When you find something
yours in another website it's incredible how much different you can feel
whether they give you the proper credit or not. The difference is as wide as
is being rewarded with or deprived of something.

The proper procedure IMHO would be

1) Ask the author via email for the permission to use some of his/her
material.
2) Give him/her proper credit and possibly a link (I too like the linkware
concept).

But I still can accept somebody skips the step #1 if complies with step #2.

Did you try to email him and ask for some explanation? After all there
*might* be one...

The difference is: I have multiple dat files for all hinged and turnable

engines, the lasers (right and left arm), the back door, and the turret • (hope
this is the correct name for it). John has taken the main dat-file and

I have posted my dat files as well as a building instruction on my webpage • at

Well, I think it is basically still my design and it would have been nice • to

Pictures, dat-files etc on my webpage are free to use but I like Todds • idea

your website, put a link to the site where you took it from. It´s for free • but
you pay respect to its origin.

Just my two Republic Credits...

Actually, my pic was not done in ldraw. I work on Macs and did mine in Gryphon Bricks, which doesn't have a lot of lego pieces or options (anyone who'se used it knows just how limiting it is). Once I clean out my apartment I'm getting a PC so I can (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.cad, lugnet.general)
