I don't think I've put any 8 stud cars in Datsville.  There's a 6 stud pickup
truck that looks a little big.

What about 6 studs for trucks and 4 -6 studs for transporter like and
personal cars? I think it would look better...

Pretty much as long as they fit on the roads they're OK.  Given how many
different contributors there are, we're bound to have some inconsistencies in
vehicle size, just like we have with buildings.
