I remember, a few years back, on instructions and so, that the photos showed
the model on a sandy planet, together with a squared sky. If you don´t know
what I mean, check it out at:

Can it be done? An ordinary plain floor will do, it does not have to be a
height field.

| Tobias Möller: (...) You can get it both with and without a height field. Check out to POV-Ray FAQ (look for "sand texture"). The illumnated blue grid can be delivered too. Just turn up the ambience (AMB?) value. Play well, Jacob ---...--- -- (...) (26 years ago, 12-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
