James, Are you going to build a second fire station, or are you going to
rent
space from me :)  If you want to rent space, I'd have to ask you to make
the
colors black and yellow to match the Heavy Rescue truck. :)
Oh, and I can't wait to see the truck.
A fireman's torso has been done, although it's not official yet, and the
helmet is being worked on.

Actually, I plan to build a two-story national bank. The HAZMAT containment
unit was an idea of mine to build the Protectobot Leader Hot Spot into a Lego
town setting (along with the traditional red trucks. This hook & ladder truck
would also carry a (string-made) hose if it were made in real life. The
fireman aboard would wear a red fireman's suit with pastel blue (matching the
truck) air tanks and hat. It would carry oxygen as well as chemical foam
extinguishers. I have also made a copy of the Protectbots Blades (as a
hospital wing) and Streetwise (as a sheriff's car).
The bank's president (I hope upon hopes) will resemble The Dukes of Hazzard's
Boss Hogg and the bank will either feature a armored car or a white
convertible. (Got a white business suit &/or a stetson?) So far, I have
completed the first floor, which sits on a 19x24-stud surface, leaving 8 studs
to the right for a drive-thru teller window. In the original *.dat file, it is
4 studs away from a road plate, leaving ample room for street- or curb-side
parking.
Maybe I could talk John into investing in my Houston, Texas-style traffic
signals.
Good luck with your project.
