Hi Eric,
Done!
|
Upon further examination, this part is not as easy as I thought. Although
one end is just an axle, the socket end is actually spherical on the inside
which I imagine is difficult to create with triangles.

Indeed, it was not so easy!

On a related matter, I have just procured the new Unimog (8110) and have been
admiring the new tyres (94.3x38R, part 92912). From what I can tell, they
are nearly identical scaled up versions of the older 62.4x20 tyres (part
32019) which should make parts authoring relatively simple.
|
Scaled-up 32019 is a very good mock-up, but 92912 has 30 patterns on its track,
vs. 36 for 32019...

PS: Perhaps you should move to the new LDraw forum?
