That'd be useful.

Here's my "poor man's solution":

0 FILE XYZ.ldr
2 4 -1000 0 0 1000 0 0
2 2 0 -1000 0 0 1000 0
2 1 0 0 -1000 0 0 1000
0 NOFILE

Scale to suit.

The axis are labeled in addition to the color coding.  You can see
what it looks like in an old version of LDView on the "part in process"
screenshot.
