Here are some little vehicles I built from the the (URL) 4891 Highway Haulers> set: a nasty rat rod and a rugged prerunner (an off road truck). These can be built at the same time from a single set.   Re: Paging Tim Gould, Paging Tim Gould....

(...) John, I am in no way a POV-Ray expert (I'm pretty much a novice) but I have done it on a Mac. The tools I use after putting together the model using ldglite or MacBrickCAD or Bricksmith are the Mac OS X version of L3P, POV-Ray 3.6, and (...)   Re: Paging Tim Gould, Paging Tim Gould....

(...) Hmmmmm... do I give my secrets away or not? ;) In truth I don't think my renderings are close to the nicest but they are very cheap in terms of time for a fairly high reward (or at least one I like). Unfortunately right now is not a good time (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Paging Tim Gould, Paging Tim Gould....

I'd really appreciate your help, Tim. As you now know, I'm a Mac person and so I never got into MLCAD, and haven't really explored Bricksmith too much. Ross, however, has puttered in MLCAD, and can create models fine (although he needs to learn (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) If you download and install ldraw.exe (the ORIGINAL dos installer) it will give you the original files that James created for LDraw. -Ahui LDraw Help Desk (19 years ago, 28-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: First few parts James Jessiman made

(...) Pretty sure the first ones were 3001, 3002, and 3003. The original default model was PYRAMID.DAT, which only uses 2x4 and 2x2 bricks. --Bram (19 years ago, 27-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

First few parts James Jessiman made

Does any one know the order of the first several parts James Jessiman made and what they were? Looking for the first 2-8 brick elements. Thanks in advance, Mike Gallagher MIKESLGEO (19 years ago, 26-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad)

Commemoration of the 10th anniversary of James Jessiman's passing

On the 25th July 1997, James Jessiman passed away due to complications from the flu. The LDraw Steering Committee would like to commemorate the 10th anniversary of this sad day with a tribute page to James and his great foundation. We invite you to (...)
