I just posted 4 more models... the Rebels were getting lonely and had started
blowing things up at random.
The TIE class of ships were pretty easy to design... (all the hulls pretty much
are the same design!) the tricky part was figuring out the wing-foils... I
decided to do an approximation of the angled foils to keep the models simple and
to scale with the rebel fighters. If anyone figures out a better way to do the
wing-foils, that would be great!

| (...) I hate to reply to my own message, but I forgot to say that I know that the hull design on these ships is very similar to Rob Lion's designs, but when you get right down to it, at this scale, there really is no better way to do the hull... (...) (26 years ago, 20-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) They look great! I think the way you did the foils is fine - it even makes the ships look a little sleeker / more agressive. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (26 years ago, 20-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)
