  Re: Official LPub manual online

(...) There is no PDF version. You could print every page to PDF. There are no plans for an offline version. (13 years ago, 1-May-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Official LPub manual online

Thank you very much.Is it possible to get a .pdf version for viewing offline (my main computer that I use for serious work does not have access to the internet)? I think I am not the only one with this wish. Saso (13 years ago, 1-May-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Library search paths.

(...) I would personally advise against it, but can't give a real justification for this recommendation other than the fact that it's non-standard. (...) The spec is very specific about ldconfig.ldr being in the main LDraw directory. LDView (...) (13 years ago, 26-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Certified BFC parts with wrong winding

Hi all, I just wanted to let you all know it seems 3009p18.dat has wrong winding, even though it's marked BFC CERTIFY CW I noticed this also for 2450.dat but that one seemed to a known problem,3009p18 is not on the part tracker as far i can find it.   Re: Library search paths.

(...) <snip> (...) Lars' project looks interesting but my generic LDraw search handling code is all done. I'm only looking for a way to get the 'default out of the box' colors in place upon first start. The user can change that of course but it (...) (13 years ago, 23-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Library search paths.

(...) I don't think you should use the normal search strategy (enhanced or not) for ldconfig.ldr because it's a special case. It's got global scope, and it's not referenced by name in your ldraw files. Tim's on the right track. A good strategy would (...) (13 years ago, 23-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Library search paths.

(...) Well those directories are often write-protected and given other sorts of restrictions. A better place would be {USER}\Documents\ldraw. Tim (13 years ago, 23-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Library search paths.

Hi all, I'm working on my new editor and wondering on how to implement default color loading. I wanted to let the system look for ldconfig.ldr much like normal parts etc, but this won't work cause it's in the root ldraw dir instead of parts or p. So (...)   Re: L3PAO 1.9 Beta

(...) I think I used a copy of Notepad.exe and renamed it to ledit.exe if my memory serves me right. /Tore (13 years ago, 18-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: L3PAO 1.9 Beta

(...) If that's all that's needed, wouldn't it be easier to just create a file called "ledit.exe" in the appropriate folder - no binary hacking needed. (13 years ago, 18-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: L3PAO 1.9 Beta

(...) Since "ledit.exe" is the same size string as "parts.lst" perhaps someone could try editing the L3PAO executable in a binary editor and replace the string so it looks for a file that still exists in the current ldraw distribution. (13 years ago, 18-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: L3PAO 1.9 Beta

(...) Add force decimal separator to be = '.' as in LDraw, even when national system settings says ',', like for example here in Sweden. The option "-sw0,5" generates error, of course. /Tore (13 years ago, 16-Apr-11, to lugnet.cad)
