The 1.0 LDraw File Format specification itself is silent on the matter of line endings, but indeed the "File Format Restrictions for Official Parts" requires DOS line endings ((URL) opinion is that while well-behaved software should output (...) (...) So I've noticed, too. But I've quit pointing those problems out. My latest method to fix line breaks is simply to load and save the file in question in Windows WordPad. That's all it takes to fix it, and WordPad is always installed in Windows (...) (15 years ago, 6-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

I just realized that LDConfig.ldr has a problem -- it does not have DOS line breaks. Each line should be terminated by CR/LF. Instead, this file just has LF characters. This format breaks some functionality (maybe unreleased...) of LDAO. I thought (...) (15 years ago, 6-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Deep Space 9 is the space station where the Star Trek series DS9 is located. I started creating this MOC of the station way back in July 2002. This being the 4th revision, I think is now ready. I have just uploaded the current version of DATHeader. Now the colour names that are shown to you in DATHeader can be localised. Also two new checks are integrated for scaling of primitives. Some clarification MPD is great but the way I do my models is I have 1 main LDR file. Then I break parts into other LDR files. While In the main LDR file I add a part but browse to LDR model I all ready created. In doing this I may have 8+ or more (...) (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Steve's LDraw add-on has an inline function which allows you to choose which sub-models to inline. Note: I just "upgraded" to Windows 7, and some functions refuse to work, even after downloading comdlg32.ocx and richtx32.ocx. But the inliner (...) (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)
