Not for the moment - it was a scratch build yesterday evening, after I saw yours, and it is now on display in the window of my cubicle at work, just next to the display stand with 'real' calipers and micrometers and such. (...) Nothing wrong (you nicely prove it!). Except that I wanted the probe of the depthmeter to be as thin as possible (thinner than an axle). If you have some constructions details of your calipers, that would be appreciated! Philo (15 years ago, 26-May-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) YRW :-) In a book of LEGO history I read, it was explicitely stated that the original inch based measures were changed to mm. I don't remember which year, but it was a long time ago. The distance between two studs is 8 mm. (15 years ago, 25-May-09, to lugnet.cad)

(...) When I measured a 32 X 32 baseplate it was 10 inches. From my understanding 1 LDU is about equal to 1/64 inch. The Lego company though would surely be able to give you precise meaurements. (15 years ago, 25-May-09, to lugnet.cad)
