  Peeron_to_MLCad

Hi All I have developed a program called Peeron_to_MLCad. It's useful to simplify the initial phase of implementation of existing Lego sets. With Peeron_to_MLCad is possible to reduce drastically the time needed to select the parts and find the (...)   New LeoCAD Pieces Library

I've uploaded a new Pieces Library with over 600 new pieces to the LeoCAD website. This update also features fixes and corrections to several existing pieces and matches the latest LDraw update. Windows: (URL) Linux: (URL) Leonardo (16 years ago, 3-May-09, to lugnet.cad.leocad) !

Re: LDraw.org 2009-01 Parts Update Now Available

(...) Ah, that explains it... I didn't know 2780 was Non-CA (should have checked) and yes I'm a Finn and I could assist translating the installer, just send me the texts. (...) I know the lack of time to go through every part in admin review stage (...) (16 years ago, 3-May-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-01 Parts Update Now Available

(...) The existing 2780 is still non-redistributable, in that is was authored by someone who has not affirmed the Contributor Agreement. I'd suggest that you declined to install this component of the library, which is why it is now missing. Maybe (...) (16 years ago, 3-May-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-01 Parts Update Now Available

(...) SNIP (...) Uhh, it seems to me that the Windows version of the library doesn't include the old parts! New users coming to LDraw using the installer would thus be without many important, even fundamental parts, such as 2780.dat. Shouldn't a (...) (16 years ago, 3-May-09, to lugnet.cad)

(...) SNIP (...) Yay! This marks the resurrection of LDraw! :-D Thank you, Chris for this, you've done a wonderful job, and to all parts authors who made this happen (IIRC none of my parts got certified so I'm not really thanking myself). (16 years ago, 2-May-09, to lugnet.cad)

LDraw.org 2009-01 Parts Update Now Available

The 2009-01 LDraw parts update has been now been released.   Re: Undercarriage

(...) Also MLCad is able to know the unofficial path. You have to modify the MLCad.ini file. Have a look at Hollywood's homepage, there you can find how to do that. (16 years ago, 28-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Undercarriage

(...) You can set both MLCad and LDView for unofficial folder. I have done it here! For MLCad it is not that easy like for LDView, but you can find informations on that here (URL) (16 years ago, 28-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Still no zip file for 2008-01?

(...) On further investigation, it is now clear why I did this. All three files are obsolete and not used by any official parts and as primitives/subparts should not be directly referenced in models. Because this update was a complete library (...) (16 years ago, 28-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: Undercarriage

(...) You need to put the unofficial parts in a seperate folder, but you can keep them mixed with the official parts as well at the same time. If you do want to keep them separate, you can point LDview to the unofficial folder (as you already (...) (16 years ago, 28-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Undercarriage

(...) That's what I do too. But I have in another folder an intact official library. When I run MPD Wizard, I use this reference lib as the LDraw library, and my regular LDraw folder as unofficial parts path. Philo (16 years ago, 27-Apr-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
