LDraw parts are just a bunch of triangles, quads, and lines. There's no such concept as "solid". --Travis (16 years ago, 6-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Looking through various LDraw files I've noticed that the axles that connect for example beams into ball joints are modelled hollow, like axle holes closed on all sides. However, I've broken various pieces over my years, this one being broken quite (...) (16 years ago, 6-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) I have a setup program (for a product at work) that is doing more or less exactly this (asking for an extra folder, where the default value is found by searching the registry). It was quite a long time ago that I wrote it, so I may need some (...) (16 years ago, 5-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)
